The Ewbank factory began manufacturing carpet sweepers over 120 years ago and continues to make them today in their spacious, modern factory in Burnley, Lancashire.

Recently aquired by the Earlex Group, another 100% British manufacturing company, the once familiar Ewbank brand is gradually becoming fashionable again as Earlex invests heavily in product development, new management and factory updates.

At the time of purchase, Ewbank was regarded by its new parent as a missed opportunity brand. Now, all that has changed as the Ewbank team sets about rejuvenating a range that was once a favourite in practically every British home.

For Earlex and Ewbank alike, 2004 represents a major opportunity as a multi-million pound investment in new product developments and a high profile marketing campaign begin to see the light of day - this is reflected in a gradual upturn in sales and new found optimism for the future.
